The Wisdom of Fortune Cookies

I have always greeted the wisdom dispensed by fortune cookies with the skepticism which they undoubtedly deserve. Recently, however, I opened my cookie only to discover the following gem:

“Worry is interest paid in advance for a debt you may never owe”.

Unlikely source, but worth pondering.
